People need to make their points and let it stand at that because no one is going to change anyone's opinion nor get the other to accede for an actual victory-- it just a contest of gettin' in the last word.

Now I don't ask to be completely excused because of my blindness-- it just helps people understand why I may maul the vocabulary or miss things. I'm doing this all the hard way-- still trying to use my good eye to keep from falling into a state where my brain starts to ignore it. I can still work with text under the right circumstances. Disabled people are just like any of you and can be nice or not. And I'm a mother hubbarderin' one-eyed jack that just happens to be blind and fuckin' pissed off!
I was merely existing and this gives me a sense of living again. Anything to forestall the fatal attraction with that personalized round. So I'll be too busy doin' and not I'm not going to let fear of embarrassment stop me- so I will be like a bull in a china shop and break lots of words...
Although, I don't mind being told when I screw up, just in case I don't catch it myself later. Some of what I write here is the start of something that I expand upon in my other projects. And unlike some here, I do mind looking like a fool by not correcting mistakes.

You don't have to know who a person is to use their name in a sentence. The name tells you who they are. Edgar Allan Poe is Edgar Allan Poe.

The only rule about names is that one spells them correctly. Edgar Allan Poe is *not* Edgar Allen Poe.

Of course misspelling it as Edgar Allan Poland is too ridiculous to believe.... or would be if our resident Donkey hadn't done so.
