If Wednesday's refers to recycle day, it should not have an apostrophe. If, otoh, it is comparing the poetry to "Wednesday's child," then the apostrophe (possessive) would be correct.

I think it important to clarify that *she* is satisfied -- otherwise, the speaker would appear to be smugly referring to his own satisfaction with himself.
