One doesn't need to read them to know that they are neither top notch nor literary journals.

AGNI, Granta, Poetry, and Shenandoah are among the most successful and most respected (top notch) literary publications in the world -- and have been for many years.

Playgrounds is not.

If you think that Playgrounds had anywhere near the significance as Poetry, you are the definition of a "delusional little fuckwit" (apart from being the size of a hippopotamus, of course).

Playgrounds is also not a literary journal. It is primarily a listing of which local musicians will be appearing in which local bars over the course of a given month. It features writers like... Will Dockery.

Poetry Magazine... well, here's what their website says:
