The "William Blake: Visionary" exhibit will be on display at the Getty Center through January 14, 2024 - 1200 Getty Center Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90049, USA

https://www.getty.edu/art/exhibitions/blake/explore.html

We haven't been to the Getty Center, but have been to the Getty Villa Museum, which is beautiful.

I haven't been to California, but I've got Blake's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (a.k.a., "Oberon, Titania & Puck with Fairies Dancing") painting (seen in the Getty Center gallery) on my wall.

How could you not have been to California? The Getty Villa is like strolling through Herculaneum.

We see the painting in the small gallery view, but they don't see to have a separate slide for it. However, look at Blake's skill in painting people. His self-portrait could be a photograph.

I'm a long-time fan of Blake's artwork -- as evidenced by the covers of my books:

How very 19th century of you! If you don't fly, you could drive or take a bus or train. The western part of the U.S. is spectacular. Much different geography from the East, but still beautiful. We have been through Canada too (we didn't know of George Dance at the time, or his Father's House, or we would have paid him a visit).
