By default, Tor uses 3 hops.

AdvOR with Tor, gives one the ability to add more hops. The total number
of hops is the circuit length. More hops, longer circuit.

Adding more hops to the Tor circuit is controversial, but that is what
AdvOR does.

Lokinet you would use like a VPN.

Check out Nym *and* get in contact with them and ask them how to cook
up a double-mix solution, I once mentioned here. I lost interest in it due to
certain factors I do not like to explain here. But it should, if you ask them and
explain to them, a good solution (i.e. double-mix). Another thing you can
try out is to send YAMN messages, as multipart mix payloads through the
Mixmaster Network, thus increasing your hop numbers, with two chains.

I tested it in the past, and it works fine.

Tallow is a nice tool. Works well.

Tallow does NOT give one the ability to extend circuit length like AdvOR
does.

Leveraging always beats prototyping.
