Has anyone tried to make Hamster download nym reply data (a.a.m etc.)
from news.neodome.net instead of the broken news.mixmin.net /
gdyphuuuxv3v4o55osmruc2bypuewellgr5cgkoarks3xvwx4hlme5yd.onion server
(Hamster|ExtSvr), or would it be better to wait for a mixmin recovery?

I fear being confronted with a huge amount of message doublets in case
Hamster downloads already processed messages once again.

I'm thinking that should work okay. Only way to know is try it.

It really works without getting message copies. Change Host at
Hamster|ExtSvr, at Hamster|Run click Update > Shutdown > Start.

News/Server/Host ?
SSL ?
port 119 ?

and
Hamster/ExtSvr/Host ?
SSL ?
port 119 ?

And in your news client how did you configured login?
In MesNews when mixmin worked I had:
login: omnimix;ht=news.mixmin.net;pt=119;tl=e;to=no
password: omnimix

How have I to modify it in order to use freenews.netfront.net ?
