My usual template for QSL is

Fcc: outbox
Host: smtp.myprovider.com
From: myname@myprovider.com
Chain: *,*,*; copies=2;
To:
Subject:

~~

where smtp.myprovider.com is my real provider and
myname@myprovider.com is my real mail address.
Someone here told he use QSL with TOR, but how?
How to use QSL without using my mail provider
smtp.myprovider.com and my mail address?

Which template can I use?

Use Omnimix <https://www.danner-net.de/om.htm>
as a Remailer Client.

This is my template. It's easy. Just take your time.

Fcc: outbox
Host: 3fd6guyxldqnjaqtfzejnjvq6bj7ilv5u7g7ovbubhwoeqhc222zvrad.onion
From: anonymous@anonymous.com
Chain: *,*; copies=2;
To: mail2news@dizum.com,mail2news@m2n.mixmin.net,mail2news@neodome.net
Newsgroups: alt.privacy.anon-server
Subject:

This is how I do it in QSL. Old habits die hard I guess.
I've used it for years.

1) You need to set up Tor as a Proxy.

2) Tools/Proxies

3) Setup New Proxy

Name- Tor

Proxy Server-127.0.0.1

Socks 4a

Click the box that says Tor

Protocol Port- SMTP-9150
Protocol Port-HTTP-9150

Tor runs on Port 9150 on my machine.

Also:
On the top of the Proxy Manager

SMTP Proxy
in the dropdown menu select-Tor

HTTP Proxy
In the dropdown menu select-Tor

Other items:

A) Make sure you have Tor running!!!

B) In the "Host" line
3fd6guyxldqnjaqtfzejnjvq6bj7ilv5u7g7ovbubhwoeqhc222zvrad.onion

This is Zax's Tor Hidden Service.

Take your time with this. Please don't write back, and say, "It doesn't
work."

I've used this template since Christ was a corporal.

Omnimix makes this relatively easy, but there is probably a simple way
to configure QuickSilver Lite 1.1.4 for connecting with Tor Browser as
the QuickSilver "Help" (qsw.chm) menu describes:
>Proxy Host Profile

for comparison, i have found it easier to use Omnimix with Tor Browser
by having both Tor Browser & Omnimix always running in the background;
in Windows 7 Omnimix > Tor tab > Cfg > Port is using "9054" (default),
and in Windows 11 Omnimix > Tor tab > Cfg > Port is using "9150" (this
method works great but may not be as secure as using Omnimix' own Tor)

Concur, nice writeup. The OP can use the commands below to
check for the listening port.

Tor Browser check (Port 9150)

C:\Users\Xxxx>netstat -a -p tcp | Find "9150"
TCP 127.0.0.1:9150 xxxxxxxxx:0 LISTENING

OmniMix check (Port 9054)

C:\Users\Xxxx>netstat -n -p tcp | find "9054"
TCP 127.0.0.1:9054 127.0.0.1:51539
ESTABLISHED
TCP 127.0.0.1:51539 127.0.0.1:9054

Tor Expert Bundle check (Port 9050)

C:\Users\Xxxx>netstat -a -p tcp | Find "9050"

Thank you very much.
Now I will try it.
When you say "TOR running" it is ok having Tor Browser 13.05 in
execution? Or it is ok having Omnimix in execution? Or both?

I use Omnimix, it is a great program with which I manage my nyms and
send mail and posts.
But I wish also to learn how to use QSL with TOR.

Simple.

Host: 127.0.0.1:25
No proxy

Be advised that you may have to disable TLS on OmniMix/Server/Mail
Snd (SMTP) is using for YAMN.
QSL has some occasional TLS/SSL negotiation issues.

In reply to your question:

"it is ok having Tor Browser 13.05 in
execution?"

Yes, of course. I just wanted to emphasize that Tor is not included
in QSL and must be run separately. But I'm sure you knew that.

Run your Tor browser when using QSL.

Omnimix has nothing to do with it.

I wish you success. Please post your results.

OmniMix can also provide Tor services on port 9054.
