It is coming up as Victor in my new statistics pinger also. Check your yamn yamn.cfg file again and make sure you have saved it correctly. My name parameter is: Name = "incog"
You have to stop and restart yamn any time you make a change to the yamn.cfg file.

So the change to "Name:" did not take effect.

As Inwtx suggested stop the Yamn daemon. And then start it up again.

Go to your mixmaster where your mix.cfg is located and do a:

grep -i "Victor" *

therein. See if you can find anything and if there is a Victor,
change it to victor.

It could be that your /etc/alias file has Victor: Victor therein instead
of victor: victor

No. The problem is with the shortname value. Well, Mixmaster called it
shortname. In YAMN it is called Name.

It is found in the [Remailer] section of yamn.cfg. See

GabX says he has changed Name to lower case victor. And restarted Yamn.

This is definitely a problem that some learned people have. They
become arrogant and love to slander those who are still learning a
topic. So I'll tell you what I'll do asshole, I'll take down one of
my remailers so you don't have to worry about my making two
mistakes, since I'll only be operating one from now on. I would
actually take both down now, but I need the cover of running my own
remailer to send messages through to keep from being tracked. incog
is now in testing mode.

Redjohn himself seems to have a personal problem with a tinctured
sphincter. I think he just wet himself online.

1. I run the Tincture YAMN Pinger;

2. I didn't start this thread which contains the juvenile Subject
line Tincture's sphincter;

3. My pinger is named "Tincture Yamn Pinger." You don't have to
like the name. But please judge it by its performance. At the
moment it is the only YAMN pinger being actively maintained;
