Hi all,

I still have from Richard his mix.exe and all files
and when starting the mix.exe it can not find the
required MSVCR100.dll. I downloaded the oldest
version I could find but still no luck.

Can a kind soul help me out with the correct *old*
..dll and were I have to put it, in order that I get mix.exe
running?

P.S. This is an old IBM ThinkPad T42 (Pentium Processor)
and his gpg 1.4.21 is working.

What you need is the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable
Package (32-bit).

It doesn't seem to be available in the free downloads on M$
site, says no longer available. I bet it is somewhere in that
mess if you look long enough.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated! I tried to install, but
the installer tells me to upgrade a service pack, which later I
will do then manually.

Good luck!

You may still be able to use this to get updates and write a
..ISO for XP. It will have the C++ runtime libraries and some
..NET.

I have downloaded the file, but it looks to me that it needs
for further processing online usage, which I do not have
with this computer. It will be used as offline only usage device.

Thanks. I have checked Microsoft's Knowledge Database and
it lists also all file, which one can use for updating Windows XP,
in my case Windows XP Service Pack 2.

I will check this weekend and If I do not succeed I would appreciate
a a download link from you.

Ok, updated to SP 3 and installed the file from you, but still no luck.

I will leave it for now and whenever you like to upload your archive

This is what is installed on Windows XP (32 bit), QS 1.2.7.2 and
Mixmaster 3.0.3a work. Had reliability trouble with 3.1 so
reverted to 3.0.3a. Works perfect on both platforms.

Two files, a PDF with misc info and a complete install of QS
1.2.7.2 and the XP update ISO. You have 7 days to snag them.
The XP build I used for the test is 32 bit SP3.

Ok. installed SP3 and first mix.exe did not worked,
but later after installing also vcredist2012_x86.exe
it works! :-)
