- 'Wrap' parameter added to the Mailer to modify the formerly invariable
72 character line wrapping.
- Mixmaster / Yamn routing of dummy messages selectable.
- NoDummy flag set with Yamn calls.
- Fix for a bug in Yamn v0.2c code (Go function calls pass slice parameter
data by reference, not value) that affected chain creation negatively.
- FPCLAZup updated (v2.2.0b/20210917/i386-win32).

I don't like that the modified yamn.exe reliefs that the message
was send via OmniMix.

Example:

Yamn-Pooled-Date: 19 Sep 2021

To: yamn@tnetconsulting.net

From: mix@nowhere.invalid

Subject: yamn-0.2c-omnimix

::

Remailer-Type: yamn-0.2c-omnimix

Agree. True anonymity should keep all possibilities of tracking
out of messages. This allows for a search to discover if someone
has omnimix on their machine.

After receiving packets from Mixmaster & Yamn OM reformats (and
normalizes) their header section according to their destinations.

Activate "Save Mail (SMTP) Client I/O to a Log File" at the Log/ClientM
tab, then send a few dummy messages (Misc/Dummy tab), and your log file
"log\cli_smtp.log" will show something like

Why in the first place is there any version number at all?
Aren't such data only relevant with different packet format
versions like the migration to Mixmaster 4096?

Now Zax has to confirm, that the version string isn't also present
somewhere in inner encryption layers, which imo shouldn't be necessary
besides not being mentioned in <https://mixmin.net/yamn_packet.html>.

Exactly. Unfortunately Zax doesn't distinguish between the program
version (yamn -version -> Version: 0.2c) and the data structure / packet
version (e.g. Remailer-Type: Yamn-1.0), which has to be fixed.

Published a month ago, this severe bug still isn't fixed by Zax or SEC3.

While I am not a coder I would like to do what I can to have Christian
Danner's recent improvements to YAMN make their way into Zax's code base.

I have extracted from recent versions of Omnimix (v2.6.1, v2.6.2 and
v2.6.3) any .diff files related to YAMN. I found two .diff files. And I
have published those on my sec3.net website.

<https://www.sec3.net/misc/Christian.Danner.patches.for.YAMN/index.html>

I will also contact Zax by email and make him aware, if he is not
already aware, of these important fixes.
