No argument there, but he's also been a streaky hitter. I think the
hitting team that Zaidi put together helped a lot of the players,
especially Belt and Crawford.

Belt seems to be less patient and has gone after pitches that he might
have let pass in the past. For Crawford, the change has been dramatic
and he's why.

As players age, they adopt changes to keep up with the younger, faster
pitchers that they face. They tend to protect the strike zone, closing
up their swing. That link has the pictures of Crawford show the
changes.

Posey is another matter. He didn't need to change his batting style,
he just needed to heal after his hip surgery, which allowed him to
swing the way he used to before his hip took away his mobility.
